Enhanced awareness will help arrest corona virus spread Continental Hospitals conducts series of awareness meets in Schools and IT companies
The global pandemic corona virus has created a worldwide panic, and people are extremely scared about the prospect of they contracting the deadly virus. And under these circumstances, the Continental Hospitals, a leading healthcare provider in South India, is holding a series of consultation meets to spread awareness among the citizens of Hyderabad.
Has a part of its efforts to enhance awareness, Dr. Mishal Divya, Medical Officer, Continental Hospitals today held a consultation meet at Klay School,.Madhapur and address a gathering of over 100 students and their teachers.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Mishal Divya said, "There is an unwarranted scare in the society in such times when an epidemic or a pandemic breaks. However, there are some simple measures with which we can arrest the spread of a deadly virus like coronavirus. We urge all individuals, of all age groups to keep their surroundings clean, and maintain personal hygiene. And simple steps like cleaning hands and not being in unhealthy environments will help control the menace."
Continental Hospitals is holding a series such awareness meets; and so far the hospital held camps at Sohini Tech Park, OnePlus, Epiq, Aveva, Virtusa, CSS Corp, L&T Infotech, and Corteva.

- Wash your hands with soap and running water when hands are visibly dirty. If your hands are not visibly dirty, frequently clean them by using alcohol–based hand rub or soap and water
- When coughing and sneezing cover mouth and nose with flexed elbow or tissue. Throw tissue into closed bin immediately after use.
- Clean hands with alcohol used hand rub or soap and water after coughing or sneezing and when caring for the sick.
- Wear a mask only if you are having any symptoms or taking care of a person with suspected 2019-nCov infection.

- Avoid close contact with people around you when you are experiencing cough and fever.
- Avoid spitting in public.
If you have fever, cough and difficulty breathing seek medical care early and share travel history with your healthcare provider.
- Avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth.
- If you are not having any symptoms or you are healthy, no need to wear a mask.
