India’s healthcare industry is witnessing transformative growth, driven by innovation, digitalisation, and a collaborative ecosystem. As one of the largest sectors by revenue and employment, it encompasses hospitals, med-tech, telemedicine, insurance, diagnostics, and medical tourism. The rise in private equity, foreign investments, and proactive government initiatives is further accelerating the sector’s development. Today, India is rapidly embracing technologies like telehealth, AI in diagnostics, digital prescriptions, wearable health devices, and health cloud platforms. These advancements are not only expanding reach and affordability but also enhancing care quality and operational efficiency. Zen Multispeciality Hospital has been at the forefront of combining advanced medical practices with a strong academic foundation. Its emphasis on training healthcare professionals, conducting research, and adopting cutting-edge technologies has made it a trusted institution for both patients and the medical fraternity. This award strengthens the hospital’s vision of integrating care, cure, and education, thereby contributing to the larger goal of advancing India’s healthcare ecosystem.

As part of its strong academic focus, Zen Multispeciality Hospital has also taken medical training beyond metros to Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. Through structured programs and live surgical demonstrations, the hospital has successfully trained more than 500 surgeons across India, empowering them with advanced surgical skills. Training initiatives have been conducted at multiple centres, including Jajpur in Odisha, Hubli Medical College, Bhopal, Nashik, and Aurangabad, ensuring knowledge-sharing reaches aspiring surgeons in regional hubs as well. The hospital also made history by linking 94 centres and medical colleges for a live surgical workshop, creating a first-of-its-kind global platform for real-time learning and collaboration.

Speaking on this achievement, Dr Roy Patankar, Director Zen Multispeciality Hospital, said, “This acknowledgement by CII is a proud achievement for every member of Zen Multispeciality Hospital. This recognition is a reflection of our training initiatives. For the first time in the world, Zen Multispeciality Hospital successfully linked 94 centres and medical colleges for a live surgical workshop, creating a unique platform for knowledge sharing and medical excellence. We are not only dedicated to providing the best patient care but also shaping the future of healthcare through knowledge-sharing and academic excellence. We will continuously strive to raise benchmarks in innovation, compassion, and medical education. This award motivates us to continue our journey with greater passion and responsibility.”
