Proud Moment for Cardiovascular Community: Dr. Lokeswara Rao Sajja Awarded Fellowship of the American College of Cardiology

Hyderabad, August 25, 2025: We are proud to announce that Dr. Lokeswara Rao Sajja, MCH, MBBS, MD, has been elected as a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC)—one of the most esteemed honors in cardiovascular medicine worldwide. This recognition is awarded to a select few physicians who demonstrate exceptional expertise, leadership, and commitment to advancing heart health through clinical practice, research, and education.

This is not only a personal achievement for Dr. Sajja but also a proud moment for cardiovascular community in India, as only a very small number of Indian cardiovascular professionals have earned this rare distinction. By getting this recognition Dr. Sajja has joined elite group of cardiovascular professionals.

Dr. Sajja is a highly respected cardiac surgeon with an illustrious career spanning more than three decades. He has performed thousands of complex heart surgeries and is known for pioneering work in surgical innovation, patient safety, and medical research. His contributions have significantly raised the standards of cardiac care in India, inspiring future generations of medical professionals.

As part of this honor, Dr. Sajja will take official oath of Fellowship during the ACC Annual Scientific Session, to be held from March 28–30, 2026, in New Orleans, USA.
