Arete Hernia League Concludes Successfully, Showcasing Cutting-Edge Hernia Repair Techniques

Hyderabad, April 9, 2025 – Arete Hospitals successfully hosted the much-anticipated Arete Hernia League, an advanced masterclass in hernia repair techniques, bringing together 70 leading surgeons, trainees, and medical experts, for an immersive learning experience.

The event, held on April 5, 2025, featured live surgical demonstrations, streamed directly from the operation theatre, to the audience. This innovative approach allowed participants to witness real-time hernia repair procedures, and gain valuable insights into advanced laparoscopic and minimally invasive techniques.
Led by Dr. Dinakar Reddy A, Head of the Department of Surgical Gastroenterology, alongside an esteemed panel of renowned surgeons, the masterclass covered a comprehensive range of topics, including inguinal and ventral hernia repair, laparoscopic TEP/TAPP techniques, and endosuturing skills. The sessions were structured in a sports-themed format, adding an engaging element to the learning experience, with segments like Powerplay 1.0, Strategic Timeout, and Expert Dugout.
