National Food Festival in Hyderabad

National Institute of Naturopathy (NIN), Pune, an organization established by the Government of India, Ministry of AYUSH, in the country for propagation and promotion of Naturopathy and Yoga.  As part of its activities, NIN will organize a two-day FOOD FESTIVAL ON THE THEME “NATIONAL NATURAL FOOD FESTIVAL” at Peoples’ Plaza, Necklace Road, Hyderabad (Telangana) on 17th and 18thFebruary 2018.  During this two-day event, NIN, Pune will demonstrate various recipes on natural food preparation,   promote and propagate the use of natural foods and their impact on health, natural methods of preparing foods such as juices, salads, herbal tea, etc.

Our lifestyle and food choices play an important role in maintaining our health.  Locally grown food substances will address many of the factors related to health and disease such as environmental factors, social factors which in turn provides sustenance to the farmers. The aim of this two-day event is also to showcase natural traditional cooking practices and explain the scientific reasons as to why they are healthy.  Naturopathy principles will be inculcated in the minds of people, especially the young and children attending the program through the demo, classes, consultations, counseling sessions by Experts/Doctors in the field of Naturopathy &Yoga.

The NNFF looks into all these aspects and also showcases various foods available in different regions of the country and also provides regional/local/traditional food preparations for healthy living.  This exhibition will showcase preparations from students of Yoga and Naturopathy medical colleges across India and also from different institutes of Naturopathy and Yoga.

The Food Festival and Exhibition is open for public and no entry fee is chargeable.   Various Naturopathy Institutions from across the country will display natural food prepration under the guidance of Naturopaths/Doctors in the field.
