KIMS Organize a National Nursing Conference
Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) in association with Nursing Officers Association (NOA) & Innovative Alliance for Public Health (IAPH) organized a one-day National Conference for Young Nurses today, from 8 am to 5 pm to enlighten the Nursing Professionals on their future role. The conference is mainly aimed at exploring new avenues in Nursing and bring qualitative change in the life experience of nurses in extended roles.
The conference was attended by around 400 Nurses from all over the country.
Dr.Bhaskar Rao, Managing Director of KIMS group of hospitals, during the inauguration the conference, said that this session will encourage all the participants to approach their professional development in a new way. He also said that the speakers of the conference are experts playing an important role of helping participants understand nursing professional practice and continuous professional development.
Chief Guest of the event, Sri Etela Rajender, Minister of Medical & Health and Family Welfare, Govt of Telangana, said, “I am glad to be part of this event and would like to thank KIMS, NOA and IAPH’s role in organising the Conference. Nursing is a very dynamic profession and is based on determination, care and humanity. This is a great opportunity for all the participants to learn and interaction with their peers as well as the industry experts.”
The convenor ,Prof. N. Sheela, Principal KIMS College of Nursing expressed gratitude to the KIMS Management for extending their support in facilitating the conference and she requested all the participants to make use of this opportunity to enhance their skills and knowledge in growing health care sector intertwined with ever changing modern science & technology.
