Apollo Hospitals have launched a new speciality clinic that caters to the 130 lung disorders known as Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD). The clinic was inaugurated by chief guest Sri Konda Vishweshwar Reddy, Hon'ble Member of Parliament, Chevella. On the ocassion MP Sri Konda Vishweshwar Reddy said, “Advanced Lung care is the need of the hour as pollution adversely impacts health.” This declaration was made at an august gathering where Dr Ravindra Babu, Medical Superintendent, Apollo Hospitals, Hyderabad, Dr KMK Reddy, Head of Cardiology, Apollo Hospitals, Hyderabad, Dr Narsimhan, Head of Pulmonology, Apollo Hospitals, Chennai, Dr Y. Ganesh, Consultant Internal Medicine, Apollo Hospitals, Hyderabad and Consultant Pulmonologists at Apollo Hospitals, Hyderabad Dr Sai Praveen Harnath & Dr Ch Vijay Kumar were present.

The biggest pitfall of industrialization is pollution and it is hard to avoid it. Now pollution has become like a vicious cycle. For instance, scientists are talking about installing solar panels and windmills to save energy. But then again while manufacturing these solar panels there will be pollution.
