Uzbekistan extends helping hand to Indian medical students, who came back from war torn Ukraine

Hyderabad, February 18, 2023: Uzbekistan Health Ministry allotted 2000 seats to Ukraine's returned Indian students to continue their MBBS in Uzbekistan, in which 500 middle class students' futures were saved by Ex Uzbekistan Health Minister & Rector of Tashkent Medical Academy with the help of Indian Representative of MHEI’s Health Ministry, Director NEO Dr. Divya Raj at affordable cost without losing their previous studies in Ukraine and 1000 students were absorbed by Bukhara State Medical Institute and 500 students were absorbed by other institutes of Uzbekistan. 

TMA & BUKHARA are top universities have modern infrastructure and an advanced multi-specialty government hospital with Indian and international professors for additional training. 

Due to limited seats and high fees in India, middle-class students choose MBBS abroad, but middlemen are misguiding and cheating the students, to avoid this, TMA of Uzbekistan with its strategic partner NEO Institute of Medical Sciences and Technology LTD opened their South Asian regional head office in Himayat Nagar, Hyderabad to benefit middle-class families by offering direct admissions with transparency and prompt services. 

Rector praised Ukraine's Returned Indian students' courage and advised their parents to contact TMA's regional office in Hyderabad for direct information and services.

TMA, Uzbekistan delegation with NEO group met Honorable Health & Finance Minister Shri T Harish Rao and informed him about they that TMA has absorbed 500 students and BUKHARA 1000 students other institutes absorbed 500 students out of 2000 quota alloted to Indian students after Ukraine war, Minister asked about the wear abouts of telugu and other students from all over India and requested to allot some scholarships for talented and middle class families, also discussed about the joint cooperation of Uzbek-Telangana in exchange of students, doctors and health care, as well minister proposed that telangana is also famous for medical tourism by giving effective treatment with less price compare to other countries. Minister appreciated Dr Divya's efforts in relocating of telangana students and encouraged the proposal of introducing Ayush medicine along with allopathy in Uzbekistan from Telangana by directing Telangana Health Secretary. 

Mr. Mohammad, the first secretary of Uzbekistan Embassy said that Uzbekistan's Health Ministry has accepted NMC norms for Indian students' career safety in India and said Embassy will assist the students in every way possible. Mr Mohammad said India is a friendly country to Uzbekistan celebrated 30th diplomatic relations of cooperation, he recalled that India assumed the SCO presidency for 2023, recently India appointed as chairman for G20 nations because of its potentiality mainly the youth, he said embassy will assist the students in every possible way under the leadership of Ambassador Dilshod. 

Parents presented H.E Alisher Kayumovich Shadmanov and Dr. B Divya Raj Reddy a large, custom canvas painting frame for helping their childrens education during this hard time of war. 

Uzbekistan is emerging as global healthcare, relatively Ambani Hospital of Mumbai and Apollo Hospital of Hyderabad joined forces with the Marafon group to set up a multi-specialty hospital with an initial investment of 245 crores. India and Uzbekistan have close ties in medical tourism, exchange of specialist doctors, and performing high-risk surgeries.
