Amor Hospitals celebrates ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ along with people of African descent

Hyderabad, August 15th, 2022: Amor Hospitals, a prominent multi-specialty healthcare provider in the city, today celebrated ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’, the 75th Indian Independence Day with great nationalistic fervor on display. Nearly 100 men and women of African descent, living or settled in the Hyderabad participated in the celebrations, and saluted the Indian tricolor, a great spectacle to watch.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Kishore Reddy, Managing Director, Amor Hospitals said, “The spirit of India and the values we possess makes us Indian dear to people from around the world. As India celebrates its 75th Independence Day, am happy, our friends of African lineage have decided to share our joy by participating in the festivities. Since early days of my career as a doctor, I had been treating patients from various African nations. Today, by taking part in these celebrations, these people have demonstrated the bond they have with India, and the trust they impose on the Indian healthcare system.”

The 75 years of Indian independence brings in great excitement and is a tribute to all those to fought and sacrificed their lives during the freedom struggle. Amor Hospitals’ family has extended its complete support to the various programs started by the Government of India on this occasion, like Har Ghar Tiranga. A tricolor was unfurled atop the hospital building for the past three days, and the management has requested and encouraged every doctor, nursing, and support staff members to display Indian flag at their respective homes.
