Two day Cardiology workshop held at KIMS Hospitals
KIMS Hospitals, themulti-specialty healthcare chain, Cardiology department has conducted the 15th Cardiology Update program, an educative workshop for cardiologists, held as part of their continuous medical education. The two-day sessions held at the Secunderabad hospital,under the supervision of Dr. V.DayasagarRao, Consultant Cardiologist, Department of Cardiology.
The interactive sessions included Coronary blood flow physiology &clinical implications, Newer Techniques in Echo Cardiography - Strain imaging, 3D, 4D Echo, ICE (intra cardiac echo), Evaluation of multivalvular disease –clinical & hemodynamic
Speaking on the occasion, DrDayasagar Rao said, “We aim to provide expert insight into recent advances in the key subjects of cardiology, and a balanced outlook on how these advances may influence the treatment. The conference will cover an array of topics which will help the doctors deliver the appropriate and effective treatment.”
Speaking on the occasion, Dr B BhaskarRao, MD, KIMS Hospitals said that the KIMS always encourages updating knowledge through these workshops. “This program is a unique platform for cardiologists, cardiac surgeons and researchers from renowned institutions to share and exchange new clinical studies and advancements in dealing with cardiac diseases. The workshop has case discussions and student-faculty interactive sessions to help the young doctors with deep knowledge.
More than 200Doctors for Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Pune and Odisha attended the CME.
