It is estimated that, worldwide, every year 17,900,000 people die from heart problems. Number of people who are suffering from cardiac diseases in India is increasing day by day. And amongst them, majority of the people are getting affected with coronary heart disease.

“Today western culture has become a part & parcel of our daily life. Consuming high cholesterol foods, coloured soda drinks, contaminated vegetables, fruits, grains and pollution, are the prime reasons behind Heart Diseases. People who take high-protein diet without proper physical activity, becomes overweight and it eventually leads to high blood pressure and heart diseases”, said Dr. Gopichand Mannam, Consultant Cardio Thoracic Surgeon, Star Hospitals, Hyderabad

Until 1940, China topped the list of people with highest number of heart diseases in the world. Now, unfortunately its India. Owing to the occupational stress and over ambitious nature, the occurrence of heart disease is high among the people aged between 35-45.
