DO’S and DONT’S TO SECURE CHILDREN FROM COVID 19 3RD WAVE
Hyderabad, 04th June, 2021: According to virologists and epidemiologists, children are going to be most vulnerable in the 3rd wave of corona virus that seems inevitable. The most vulnerable groups going to be affected will be the children (2-12 years), primary reasons for the infection would be

Here are few DO’s to prevent your child from the 3rd wave
- Follow Covid-19 appropriate behaviour at all times even when at home. Maintain hand hygiene – wash hands regularly with soap and water for 20 seconds minimum; practice social distancing, wear mask and stay at home.
- Parents and other family members should be completely vaccinated with 2 doses.
- Complete all the pending vaccinations including the must important ones for FLU and Pneumonia.
- Give good nutritious diet which is rich in Vitamin C and zinc, and keep good Hydration
- Encourage them to stay indoors.
- Educate them, assert the prevention of Covid spread and follow their online school routine.
- Reduce the screentime, keep them engaged in creative activities, like exercises, yoga and many indoor games.
- Keep good conversation with your child, encourage them to express their feelings.
- Psychological well-being is as important as a physical well-being.
- Consult your paediatrician if your child is unwell or shows any symptoms suggestive of Covid 19
Stay Away From These Don’ts
- Avoid going to parks, public places, like malls, Restaurants, movie theatres and children play areas.
- Do not step outside of your home unless in case of an emergency
- Avoid every sort of gathering, functions at home and crowded places.
- Postpone outstation travelling to other states or other countries.
- Do not share mask or use soiled mask.
- Do not use unsupervised medication especially steroids and antibiotics.
